Day 01

Batu Caves, Hot Spring and Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary

• Depart from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur City Centre at 9:00 am.
• Stop at the hot spring.
• Enjoy a natural hot spring surrounded by trees and frequented by locals.
• See the iconic Batu Caves in Gombak.
• Visit the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary.
• Watch a 25-minute video documentary on the Elephant Relocation Team's activities in an air-conditioned audio-visual theatre. Learn about the work conducted at the centre, the duties of the team's trained elephants, and the responsibilities of the rangers when they are out in the field carrying out wild elephant relocations.
• Take a walk to the elephant enclosure, where five rehabilitated elephants are kept. Learn about the sanctuary's role in ensuring the survival and well-being of these majestic animals, and observe the elephants as they are cared for by the sanctuary's professionals.
• Head back to your hotel at the end of the tour.
