The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca Ancient City Tour

  • After picking you up at the airport in Kuala Lumpur, we will assist with hotel check-in.

  • Upon arrival, head to the ancient city of Malaysia - Malacca, about 3 hours away by car.

  • Enjoy a tour of Malacca ancient city, including Sanbaojing, Sanbao Temple, Dutch Red House, and St. Paul's Cathedral. See the busy, world-famous Straits of Malacca here.

  • After dinner, check into the hotel and rest.

2
Day 02

Putrajaya Landmarks and Genting Highlands

  • After breakfast, visit the Pink Mosque and the Prime Minister's Office in the new administrative capital, Putrajaya.

  • Then head to the Genting Highlands, known as the Monte Carlo of Southeast Asia. It is Malaysia's most popular plateau resort and the most prominent entertainment city.

3
Day 03

Batu Caves, Twin Towers, and Kuala Lumpur City Sightseeing

  • After lunch, visit the Hindu religious shrine of Batu Caves for about 45 minutes to see the world-famous 140-foot Murugan statue, set against peculiar mountain views and the mystery of Hinduism. Stop at a coffee shop.

  • After lunch, head to Malaysia's tallest building - the Twin Towers, which appeared in the movie 'Stolen Day'. This is the place to be seen here as a symbol of Kuala Lumpur's modern prosperity.

  • After lunch, drive into the city for sightseeing. See the Capitol building, the National Palace, Independence Square, the High Court, the Heroes Monument, and other urban attractions.

  • After dinner, check into the hotel and rest.

4
Day 04

Journey to Ipoh and Penang Island

  • After breakfast, head north for about 2.5 hours, driving to Ipoh and stopping at a natural cave to see a Chinese temple.

  • After lunch, take a short trip to Ipoh town for about 2 hours and then continue to Penang Island.

5
Day 05

Explore UNESCO-listed Georgetown

  • The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Georgetown is an excellent place to begin on the island. It is full of colonial buildings, charming shops, houses, temples, mosques, and fantastic places to eat. People come here for two main reasons - to see the heritage buildings and street art, or to eat some of Penang's specialities - so the time you spend here will depend on your level of interest in these two activities.

6
Day 06

Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si, and Departure

  • After breakfast, start the day early and head up to Penang Hill before the crowds arrive. The typical way up for most visitors is by train, which costs MYR 30 per adult and MYR 15 per child for foreigners. Malaysians can go up for MYR 10 per adult and MYR 4 per child. Then head to Kek Lok Si. While there is certainly no shortage of temples in Penang, specify the time, and finally, we will finish the tour.

  • End your tour and transfer to the international airport for your onward journey.

End of Malay tour.
