The itinerary
Day 02
Karnak Temple and Sailing to Esna
In the morning, transfer by coach to visit the great Karnak, with its huge hypostyle hall and the sacred lake.
After lunch on board, the cruiser sails southwards, and you enjoy the beautiful green landscape from the sun deck until Esna Lock.
Overnight in Edfu.
Day 03
Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo, and Aswan
In the morning, visit the best-preserved temple in Egypt, the Edfu Temple.
Then, the cruiser sails upstream to Kom Ombo through the Nile landscape.
In the afternoon, visit the double temple of Kom Ombo and sail to Aswan.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 04
Aswan, High Dam, and Nasser Lake
Today, see the High Dam and Nasser Lake.
Then, take a motorboat to visit the Isis Temple on Aglikia Island.
After lunch on board, take a motorboat to Lord Kitchener Botanical Island.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 05
Abu Simbel Option and Return Sailing
Optional trip to the Abu Simbel Temple of Ramses II in the early morning, or enjoy a free morning on board.
After lunch, start sailing back to Luxor.
Day 06
Sailing to Luxor
Sail and enjoy the charming Nile landscape from the sun deck with afternoon tea.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 07
West Thebes and the Valley of the Kings
In the morning, visit the famous Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile.
Then, visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as Al Deir al Bahari, and the two Colossi of Memnon.
Day 08
Luxor Temple and Journey to Cairo
Check out in the morning.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Luxor in the city centre, overlooking the River Nile.
Then, fly or take a sleeper train to Cairo.
Day 09
Cairo Citadel, Alabaster Mosque, and Egyptian Museum
Arrive in Cairo and visit the citadel and the Alabaster Mosque.
Then, visit the Egyptian Museum with 1,20,000 exhibited objects.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Day 10
Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Khan el Khalili
Visit the Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren, Mycerinos, the Sphinx, and Khan el Khalili Bazaar.

Transfer to Hurghada
