Day 1: Yerevan to Stepanakert
Arrive at Yerevan.
Explore the following:
Khor Virap Monastery, which used to be the residence of Armenian Catholicos.
Areni Caves, a late Chalcolithic/Early Bronze Age ritual site and settlement.
Noravank monastery, a 13th-century Armenian monastery.
Leave for Stepanakert.

Day 2: Stepanakert City Tour
Go on Stepanakert city tour.
Visit:
Amaras Monastery, a prominent religious and educational center in medieval Armenia.
2000-year-old Platanus (plane) tree, the oldest tree in the former USSR.
Overnight in Stepanakert.

Day 3: Stepanakert
Visit the following:
Gandzasar Monastery, a 13th-century Armenian Apostolic cathedral.
Askeran Fortress, Aghdam, also called Mayraberd Fortress.
Tigranakert Hellenistic city museum, an archeological museum founded by king Tigran the Great.

Day 4: Back to Yerevan
- Hike from Karintak to Shushi.
- Explore the Kndzoresk Cave Village and Tatev Monastery.
- Depart to Yerevan.
