Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay

   • 9:00-9:30 - Meet your tour guide upon arrival near Hanoi old quarter* by the La Pinta Limousine service team. Check-up guests list personal belongings and then depart.
   • 9:30-11:45 - Head on the new National Highway 5B from Hanoi capital to Cat Hai island.
   • 11:45- Limo arrives at Got Pier, La Pinta lounge. Staffs offer tea breaks (tea, lemon juice or purified bottled water).
   • 12:00 -Transfers to La Pinta Cruise.
   • 12:15- Onboard the La Pinta Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and then receive cruise briefing and safety instructions before check-in.
   • 12:30- Savor a delicious lunch at the restaurant (our menus mainly cater for specialities of Vietnamese and some international cuisines) while enjoying the beauty of the canals and islets on the way, such as Da Chong and Con Vit and Gia Luan.
   • 14:15- We progress to Trung Trang cave by our bus on Cat Ba island, located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave. After Trung Trang Cave, we take a few short trekking routes at Cat Ba National Park entrance to learn more about the distinct creation of tropical forest.
   • 16:00- Seasonal options:
   • Wintertime (From 1st Nov to 31st Dec & 1st Jan to 28 Feb).
     • 16:00 - Come back to La Pinta Cruise after visiting the Trung Trang Cave. Guest(s) can relax on the sundeck and sightsee the incredible landscape of thousand stone islets rising from the middle of the bay. Take photos with sunset views. 
     • 17:30 - Cruise to the Dark & Bright cave area and dock overnight.
   • Summertime (1st Mar to 30 Oct).
     • 16:00 - Sightseeing at Lan Ha Bay.
     • 15:00- La Pinta Cruise gets to the less populated area at Tra Bau, Lan Ha Bay. You will enjoy the green emerald and calm waters by swimming & kayaking. 
     • 18:30 - Join La Pinta chefs for a cooking show where you can learn how to make some traditional Vietnamese dishes and taste them. Also, you are welcome to take part in our special activity** or any activity of your choice.
     • 19:30-  Dinner is served on board.
     • 20:30-23:00-  After finishing dinner, you could view the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic music, watch a magic show, enjoy drinks from the bar while watching Top Gear Vietnam Special - a TV series by BBC or try your luck at squid fishing. Or you could also grab some drinks and have your leisure time outside your cabin's private balcony—overnight on board.

2. Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

   • 6:00 - Wake up in the middle of the bay, inhale the fresh air, watch the sunrise on a broad horizon and admire the breathtaking seascape.
   • 6:30 - Spend about 10 minutes travelling on our tender to the nearby fishing area. The tender maintains a 20-30 m (60-90 ft) distance from the Chã. Observe a man and a woman in classic fishery costumes, netting within 20 minutes. You can take photos and make your video clips of this performance or that of limestone islets on the bay. Chã is a traditional small boat made of timber frame and bamboo coated with natural plant compound or asphalt mixture.
   • 7:00 -Back to the cruise for breakfast with a light buffet.
   • 8:00 - Transfers to Dark & Bright cave. Explore this lovely cave by bamboo boats.
   • Opt 1: Guest(s) have a choice to visit Dark & Bright cave by bamboo boats (local people rowed you).
   • Opt 2: Guest(s) can choose to go kayaking to visit the cave.
   • 8:45 - Back onto the cruise, please join our special activity** or any activity of your choice on board.
   • 9:15 - Pack & check-out.
   • 9:45- Have the farewell brunch served at the restaurant. You could observe the scenes from different angles and grab this chance to do photo hunting as the boat slowly cruises, passing by many islets of Halong Bay on her waterway back to the pier.
   • 11:45 - La Pinta cruise returns at Got Pier.
   • 12:00- Disembark and say goodbye to the cruise.
   • 12:15- Transfer back to Hanoi by Limo service (optional).
   • 14:30 Arrive in Hanoi's old quarter*, drop off at your hotel. The trip ends here, yet the La Pinta crew would love to see you soon!.
