Day 01

Windhoek to Sossusvlei Desert Journey

• Meet your tour guide upon arrival and begin your guided tour.
• Take a short break in the famous Sossusvlei dunes area of Namibia to experience the wide-open spaces of the Namib Desert and the sand dunes of this gorgeous African state. During your visit to Namibia, you will explore one of the oldest deserts in the world - the Namib Desert. This 3-day tour departs from Windhoek and travels to Sossusvlei.

Day 02

Explore Sossusvlei and Big Daddy

• Explore the magnificent dune between Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. At 325 meters, it dwarfs the other dunes. If you want the ultimate bragging rights, take plenty of water and trek to the top of Big Daddy, where you can look down onto Deadvlei.

Day 03

Big Daddy Visit and Return to Windhoek

• Travel to Big Daddy. At 325 meters, Big Daddy may be the highest dune in the Sossusvlei area; however, it is not the highest in the Namib Desert. That honour belongs to Dune 7, which measures 388 meters. Dune 7 earned its name by being the seventh dune along the Tsauchab River.
