Arusha to Tarangire's Baobabs and Elephant Herds
Depart Arusha in the morning and drive through the Maasai Steppe to Makuyuni, then continue down to Tarangire National Park. The third largest of all parks in Tanzania, Tarangire is dotted with amazingly big baobab trees and is known for its extraordinary herds of elephants. It is truly a place not to miss while on an African safari in Tanzania. The park is home to many animal species, including some rare breeds such as the oryx, hirola, and rare bird species.
Retire in the late afternoon at Tloma Lodge, with breathtaking views over the plains and a great sunset later in the day.
All meals included.
