Itinerary

Day 1: Bwindi Forest National Park
- After your early breakfast, meet and greet with your Ugandan guide at your hotel.
- Start to drive to south-western Uganda.
- First stop will be at the equator for photos and the famous water experiment to prove that you are standing in the middle of the earth. You can also have a taste of Uganda's coffee at the restaurants around.
- Lunch break will be in Mbarara town.
- Continue with your journey to Bwindi forest, going through Kabale as the last town with your Ugandan tour guide.
Dinner and overnight lodge in the forest.

Day 2: Bwindi Forest/Gorilla Tracking Day
- After your early breakfast, drive for a few minutes to the park offices for registration and briefing. Here, you will meet other tourists and sit in a common room for a general briefing, after which you be divided into groups, each consisting of 8 people only, and this is the limited number allowed for each gorilla family per day.
- Sometimes we arrive for a few minutes at the starting point, or you might start the walk from the offices it depends. Gorilla tracking is a once in a lifetime experience; getting closer to these primates and looking them in the eyes is the best moment ever.
- Walk through this thick forest is just beautiful with lots of birds, lots of monkeys and different tree species. Gorilla tracking takes between 2 to 8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas as they feed on a given day.
- Optional: If you come back early, you can visit the Batwa/Pygmies community.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Kampala or Airport
- After your breakfast, drive back to Kampala or the airport, depending on your flight plans with your Ugandan tour guide.
- Lunch will be on the way to the Equator, and you will also have time to visit the craft shops around for some souvenirs.
- Later we shall proceed to Kampala or Airport.
