Day 01

Göbekli Tepe Discovery in Şanlıurfa

• Get picked up from your hotel early in the morning and head to the airport for a 2-hour flight to Şanlıurfa, formerly known as Edessa.

• Upon arrival at the airport in Şanlıurfa, meet your Turkish guide, who will take you to Göbekli Tepe. You will be surprised by how people built this structure in 10,000 BCE using stone tools.

• After walking around the excavation site, head to Şanlıurfa for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can taste the delicious flavours of southeast Turkey. You can also enjoy shopping in the local market.

• After the tour, head back to Şanlıurfa Airport to take your flight back to İstanbul.

• On arrival in İstanbul, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
