Bagan to Salay Monasteries and Colonial Lunch

  • Get picked up at 9:00 am from your hotel by your Burmese tour guide.

  • Take a 1:30-hour drive to Salay through villages, fields, and towns. Enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way to Salay, full of trees and villages. It is one of the active religious centers in the country, as there are many active monasteries.

  • Upon arrival, visit a monastery named Yoke Sone, the best monastery in Salay, and Man Phaya, a large hollowed-Buddha statue.

  • Finish the tour after lunch at Salay House, an old colonial building built in the early 20th century, with fantastic river views.

  • Return to Bagan.
