Bagan's Must-See Temples and Sunset

  • Pick-up at 9:00 AM from your hotel by your Burmese tour guide.

  • Visit Shwesandaw Pagoda, an 11th-century temple built by the founder of the first Myanmar Empire. You are sure to be amazed by the sight of temples that seem like mushrooms coming out of the ground.

  • Head to Sulamani Temple, a 12th-century temple, Dhammayangyi Temple, the most massive temple in Bagan, and Ananda Temple, an 11th-century temple known as the most beautiful temple.

  • In the late afternoon, proceed to see more temples such as Manuha Temple, known for its biggest Buddha statues, Nanpaya Temple, the stone temple, and Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest temple.
