Day 01

Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and Mutianyu Great Wall

Pick up from your hotel or apartment in the early morning.
Visit Tian'anmen Square, the symbolic heart of China and a gathering place for the masses.
Proceed to the Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was once truly a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years.
Drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. It takes around 2 hours to reach there by road.
Have lunch at a restaurant near the Great Wall.
Head up to the UNESCO-listed Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and spend about 2 hours there.
Drive back to the hotel.
