Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

Depart from Nairobi in the morning after breakfast.
After the briefing, your safari adventure starts immediately as you board the safari vehicle. Drive overland to the bottom of the Great Rift Valley and into the iconic savannah wilderness, where Masai people and wildlife live together, before continuing to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.

This 3-day tour takes you to Masai Mara National Park, the seventh wonder of the world.
Masai Mara Game Reserve is characterised by vast acacia-dotted plains cut by ox-bow lakes and spectacular escarpments, where the movie 'Out of Africa' was shot. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration, and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Residents of the park include the Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland, and thousands of plains game, including impala, zebra, topi, and both Thomson's and Grant's gazelles.
