Day 01

Paracas Wildlife, Ica Winery & Huacachina Sandboarding

Explore the Ica region for adventure and plenty of wildlife scenery.
Take a 3.5-hour ride to Paracas to spot the wildlife at the National Reserve of Paracas, also known as the Ballestas Islands.
Enjoy a 2-hour boat tour where you can see sea lions, lots of birds, Humboldt penguins, and other wildlife found in the Pacific Ocean.
Continue exploring Ica after Ballestas Islands and take a 1-hour ride to a local winery, where you can learn more about the process of making pisco, the traditional Peruvian alcohol, and wine, as Ica is the main region for the production of both in Perú.
Have lunch with a Pisco sour.
Drive for another half hour to see the biggest oasis in all of South America.
Explore the small town.
Head deep into the desert and up to the highest dunes for sandboarding.
Enjoy an amazing sunset from the top of the dunes.
