Day 01

Lake Tana Monasteries and Bahir Dar City Tour

Embark on a boat trip to Lake Tana to enjoy stunning views and visit monasteries including Ura Kidane Mehret and Azwa Maryam. Lake Tana is the largest lake in Ethiopia, approximately 84 km long and 66 km wide.
Meet the Awra Amba Community, where the lives of men and women are presented through social, economic, and cultural aspects.
In the afternoon, take a city tour and visit the Bahir Dar market with your Ethiopian tour guide. The Bahir Dar market is a lively market.

Day 02

Awra Amba Community and Kusquam Castle in Gondar

Visit the egalitarian community of Awra Amba. You will learn about the unique way of life that places men and women equally in all community, social, and labour matters.
Explore Gondar and visit Kusquam Castle with your tour guide. It is one of the oldest castles located in Ethiopia.

Day 03

Gondar Heritage, Women's Crafts, and Ethiopian Dinner

Explore Gondar again and stop at Debre Berhan Selassie Church, Fasiladas's Castles, Bath, and Gardens.
Visit the Ploughshare Women Crafts Training Centre. It is a Falasha village where underprivileged single mothers can learn pottery, weaving, and other technical skills that enable them to make a living.
After stopping at the Ploughshare Women Training Center, visit the Injera Making Demonstration. You will also have a traditional Ethiopian dinner.
At last, take a trip to Debre Berhan Selassie Church.
