Day 01

Chandragiri Hill Cable Car and Swayambhunath Stupa Tour

• Have breakfast and leave for Godam Thankot from your hotel with your Nepalese tour guide.

• Take the cable car for 9 minutes to reach the top of Chandragiri Hill. Visit the temple and enjoy the amazing views all around. See the Himalayan ranges, including Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gaurishankar, and Mahalangur, from here. On a clear day, you may also get a chance to witness Mount Everest.

• Take the cable car back down.

• Arrive at Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), built by King Manadeva. By the 13th century, it had become an important center of Buddhism. Learn about the history of Kathmandu and its temples here.

Return to your hotel.
