Chobe National Park Game Drive and River Cruise

  • Explore Chobe National Park, Botswana's first national park and also its most biologically diverse. It is Botswana's third-largest park, after Central Kalahari Game Reserve and Gemsbok National Park, and has one of the greatest concentrations of game in all of Africa. The park is noted for having a population of lions that prey on elephants, mostly juveniles or subadults. It is also widely known for its spectacular elephant population: it contains an estimated 50,000 elephants, perhaps the highest elephant concentration in Africa, and forms part of the largest continuous surviving elephant population. The elephant population has built up steadily since 1990, from just a few thousand. Elephants living here are the Kalahari elephants, the largest in size of all known elephant populations. Chobe National Park sits in close proximity to the borders of Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia, making it a popular and easy day-trip destination for visitors from Victoria Falls as well as for those touring the wider southern Africa region.

  • Enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River and explore Botswana's unmissable safari gems, including the Okavango Delta.
