Barcelona Old City and Gothic Quarter Walking Tour
- Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location to begin the tour. Start times are 9 am or 2 pm.
- Visit Plaça de Catalunya, a large square in central Barcelona.
- Walk to Portal del Angel, a pedestrian street in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, adjacent to Plaça de Catalunya.
- See Plaça Nova, the place where the old city was born.
- Marvel at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, also known as Barcelona Cathedral. It is the Gothic cathedral and seat of the Archbishop of Barcelona.
- Head towards the Royal Palace and the King's Square, or Plaça del Rey, located in the heart of the Gothic District.
- Admire the Columns of the Roman Temple, located in the city's Gothic Quarter.
- Stroll through the Jewish Quarter, home to one of Europe's oldest synagogues, restored and opened to the public.
- Proceed to Plaça de Sant Jaume, a square at the center of the Old City of Barcelona and the city's administrative heart, as well as that of Catalonia.
- Shop at Boqueria Market, the most famous market in Barcelona.
