Day by day
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation or the airport and travel 283 km to Mikumi National Park.
You can choose to have lunch either in Morogoro or at Mikumi.
If you have lunch at the national park, it will be served picnic-style.
Start your experience with a sunset game drive.
Accommodation is at Mikumi bandas, where you can also have dinner.
Breakfast will be followed by a sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park. Early morning is also one of the best times for birdwatching.
After grabbing a packed lunch, we will drive to Dar es Salaam.
On the way back to Dar es Salaam, we will pass through a Maasai village to learn the Maasai story and about their lifestyle. You will also get a chance to see a Maasai Boma and sing Maasai songs while dancing with the locals.
You will also be dressed as a Maasai man or woman.
After the Maasai village visit, our drive will continue to Dar es Salaam and your accommodation.
