Kuala Lumpur Highlights, Batu Caves, Markets and Nightlife
- Start the tour with a pick-up from your accommodation at 10 am.
- Have a late breakfast and taste traditional Malaysian foods such as Nasi Lemak.
- From there, make your way to the famous Batu Caves by 11:00 am. Admire the enormous 140 foot tall golden Lord Murugan statue, be entertained by the many cheeky monkeys, climb the 272 stairs, explore the caves, or simply admire the stalls. Many gorgeous peacock feathers can be purchased here, and local food can also be enjoyed.
- Lunch at Masjid India at 1 pm. Other wonderful places to eat can be recommended, or you can request your own preference.
- Drive through Merdeka Square at 2 pm. Here, there are many beautiful British buildings from the 1800s, a gorgeous green field, and a wonderful place to take photos. Some of these include the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Royal Selangor Club, Former National History Museum, Kuala Lumpur City Gallery (the "I Love KL" sign is here and must be photographed), and Jamek Mosque.
- Shopping at Masjid India Markets or Chinatown at 4 pm. Your choice of location for cheap shopping of clothes, shoes, souvenirs, and delicious street food. The tour guide can bargain on your behalf in the local language for the best prices. Continue to Bukit Bintang at 6 pm for a Golden Triangle malls tour, including Plaza Low Yat for the cheapest gadgets, Pavilion, and KLCC, where at night you can see the free light and music show at KLCC Park and take photos of the iconic towers.
- Have dinner at a place of your choice, with Arab, Asian, steaks, and many more cuisines to choose from.
- See the nightlife in Kuala Lumpur's most popular destination.
- Return to your accommodation at 10 pm after a drive past the King's Palace and Wilayah Mosque.
