The itinerary

Day 01

Nyaungshwe Landmarks, Hot Springs, and Vineyard Sunset

09:00: Pick up from your hotel and head to Nyaung Shwe Local Market. See the life of local people and their local products.
10:00: Proceed to see Shwe Yan Pyay Pagoda.
10:10: Arrive at Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung. It is probably the most photographed monastery in Nyaung Shwe due to its unique oval windows, decorated in an ancient style that creates a perfect frame for portraits of the novices.
11:15: Continue on to the Cultural Museum.
11:45: Reach the Cultural Museum to learn about the history of the Shan Sawbwa. See numerous displays of Shan Sawbwa costumes, utensils, furniture, and religious materials.
12:30: Depart from the museum and transfer for lunch.
13:30: Move to Khaung Daing Natural Hot Spring.
14:00: Arrive at the hot spring and relax here.
15:30: Travel to see Red Mountain Vineyard.
16:00: Explore the Red Mountain Estate. View beautiful scenery from there and enjoy awesome sunset views. Drink good wine as you take in the beautiful scenery.
18:00: Return to your hotel.

Nyaung Shwe is where you will find the best budget and mid-range accommodation and the most vibrant town atmosphere in the Inle Lake area, with a number of restaurants and bars to enjoy after a day spent on the lake. Even if you do not stay in Nyaung Shwe (there are also luxury hotels around the shores of Inle Lake), you will probably pass through or stop for a drink or meal.
