Embark on a two-day journey through scenic Azerbaijan, bounded by the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. Starting from Baku, this tour takes you through local villages, old workshops, and the beautiful mountain landscapes of Qabala via Lahıc. Visit Shaki, one of Azerbaijan's true travel gems, set on the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains and known for its Islamic architecture, Silk Road history, mouth-watering traditional food, and friendly people.

Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

From Baku to Lahıc, Qabala and Shaki

Gather at the hotel, Baku bus station, or the Old City Castle entrance at 9:00 am and depart for Lahıc.
Arrive in Lahıc at 12:15 pm and familiarise yourself with the village. Explore its shops and old workshops filled with copper items.
Enjoy a hearty lunch and depart for Qabala at 2:00 pm.
Stop at Nohur Gol Lake, located in the forest, and bask in the sun surrounded by nature.
Continue to Tufandag Mountain Resort, a famous ski resort in Azerbaijan, arriving at 5:00 pm.
Head to Shaki at 6:00 pm, and on arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 02

Shaki Sightseeing and Transfer to Matsimi Border

Meet your tour guide at the hotel at 10:00 am and proceed for sightseeing in Shaki.
Visit the Palace of Shaki Khans, the summer residence of the Shaki Khans, built in 1797 by Muhammed Hasan Khan. This is followed by lunch and visits to other landmarks.
Depart for Balaken and the Georgia border. On arrival at Matsimi Border, bid farewell as your sojourn comes to an end.
