The itinerary

Day 01

Yangon to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda and Golden Rock

05:00 am: Drive to Kimpun camp, about 5 hours away, where the uphill motor road to Hermit's Hill begins.

Arrive at Kimpun camp and take the uphill pickup truck for about an hour to reach the top of the mountain, from where you can see the Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo). This Golden Rock is a large boulder, well balanced on a cliff of the mountain, and seems to defy gravity from the spur of the cliff. Enjoy the views over the deeply forested mountains from here.
17:00 pm: End of the tour and return to your hotel in Yangon city.
