Day 01

Accra City Heritage Tour

After breakfast, head straight to the bustling Makola Market, one of the busiest open-air markets in West Africa.
Explore the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre for Pan Africanism, which was the residence and library of the late writer and Pan Africanist W.E.B. Du Bois.
Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the final resting place of Ghana's independent leader and first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Discover British James Town, the first British settlement in Accra. It is also famous for its lighthouse and Usher Fort.

Day 02

Volta Region and Wli Waterfalls

Leave Accra early in the morning to travel to the Volta Region of Ghana.
Make a brief stop at the Adomi Bridge, which lies over Volta Lake. Volta Lake is the largest man-made lake in West Africa.
Visit the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary to have fun with the monkeys. The monkeys here are considered sacred, and you will learn more about the history of the monkeys and the village.
Stop at Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in West Africa.
