Morning
Old Shanghai: Explore Shanghai Old Town, including the City God Temple bazaar and Yu Garden, a Suzhou-style garden built in 1539 and considered one of Shanghai's treasures.
Ming Dynasty Shanghai: See the old city wall, built in the 16th century by the Ming Dynasty to defend the province from Japanese pirates. Take a walk through a local neighbourhood to learn about old Shanghai's lane houses, built in the 1920s and 1930s, which are considered part of the older corner of Shanghai and may soon disappear.
Colonial Shanghai and New Shanghai (architecture tour): Enjoy a Bund walk overlooking the colonial side of Shanghai, the Pudong New Area, and the Lujiazui CBD with its skyscrapers. Walk among the towers in Pudong and see the Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower. While here, understand how Shanghai developed from a fishing village into a cosmopolitan city.

Visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.
Visit the Propaganda Poster Art Centre, a hidden museum depicting China's history from the 1950s through the Cultural Revolution period, with exhibitions of propaganda posters issued during that era.
