The itinerary

Day 01

Shanghai Highlights from Yu Garden to Xintiandi

On this tour, start in the morning with a walk through Yu Garden, Old Town, and the back streets for about 1.5 hours.

Visit the Ming Dynasty Ancient City Wall for about 20 minutes. It refers to the wall of the ancient capital city of Nanjing, built in the early Ming Dynasty.
Enjoy a Bund walk with views of Pudong New District in the distance for about 30 minutes.

Take a lunch break for 1 hour.

After lunch, continue the city tour and move on to the following:

Former French Concession (2-3 hours), a foreign concession in Shanghai.
Tianzifang Arts Zone, a touristic arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated traditional residential area.
Fuxing Park and Xintiandi bar street.
Birds & Flower Market (40 minutes).
Watch the Shanghai Acrobatic Show (optional), which focuses on Chinese traditional features with a Kungfu show and other dangerous stunts.

Know before you go

The itinerary is flexible for this private tour. This is just my suggested itinerary. If you are interested in visiting other attractions such as Jade Buddha, Taoism and Confucius temples, the Propaganda Poster Museum, M50 arts, or the Fabric Market, we are happy to rearrange the itinerary accordingly.
Payment term: To confirm the booking, a 50 USD deposit to PayPal is appreciated. In China, PayPal charges about 5% of the total amount as a transaction fee. We will cover 2.5%, and 2.5% will be on your side. We recommend paying the rest in cash, either in USD or RMB, to the guide. The deposit will be deducted when we settle the payment at the end of the tour. Once we receive the payment, I will get back to you shortly.
Cancellation policy: Any cancellation made within one day prior to the tour will not receive a deposit refund due to our down payment to car rental and compensation for the guide.
