Day 01

Mandalay, Ava, Sagaing and U-Pein Bridge Sunset

• Start the tour at 8:30 am with pickup from your hotel. Drive south of Mandalay to visit Mahargandaryon Monastery and observe the daily routine of the monks in Amarapura. You will also see traditional Myanmar weaving patterns nearby.

• Continue to the second ancient city of Ava, also known as Inwa. Cross the Myit Nge River by boat and travel around Ava by horse cart. Visit Bagayar Monastery, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, and Nan Myint Tower.

• Drive to Sagaing by crossing the Irrawaddy River Bridge to visit Sun U Ponnyashin Pagoda and Umin Thonze Pagoda.

• Travel back to U-Pein Bridge to enjoy the sunset views there.
