Know before you go

  • Please make sure that you arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure and check in at one of our front desks inside our offices, unless you choose a tour option where you meet your tour guide directly.
  • A modest dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. If you fail to comply with these dress requirements, you may be denied entry. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is recommended for Rome in general.
  • Radio headsets inside the Vatican Museums will be provided if the tour has more than six participants in the group.
  • Pets are unfortunately not allowed in any of Rome's main attractions or museums, including the Vatican Museums.
  • On rare occasions, St. Peter's Basilica may spontaneously close for religious services, Mass preparations, or ceremonies.
