  • Every year, the Vatican Museums count among the biggest museums in the world and welcome an average of almost 5 million visitors. This can undoubtedly lead to immense waiting queues at the entrance. In order to save precious time that would be better used exploring the numerous sections and art collections of the museums, it is essential to pre-book your ticket in advance to enjoy direct access with a reservation. Meet us at our Vatican tour office and enter the Vatican Museums with a group reservation and skip-the-line access.

  • The Vatican Museums offer free entry to all disabled visitors with certified invalidity of more than 74%. For visitors who are not self-sufficient, free entry is also extended to a companion. Free entry tickets are issued upon presentation of a certificate of invalidity.

  • A student discount applies for students under the age of 26, in possession of a valid student ID (national or international) and a valid ID with proof of age, if not shown on the student ID.

  • Discounts apply for children from the age of 6 to 17 years. Children under the age of 6 are free and do not need to be mentioned when booking a tour with us online. All children need to be in possession of a valid ID with proof of age and a copy of it as well.

  • On rare occasions, the Vatican may spontaneously close for religious services, Mass preparations, or ceremonies. In these last-minute cases, we are unable to provide discounts or refunds. We cannot be held responsible for any itinerary variations inside the museum, cancellations, or entrance delays due to unexpected events, strikes, decisions taken by the museum direction, and/or unexpected variations of the Pope's displacement involving the museum buildings.

  • A modest dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. If you fail to comply with these dress requirements, you may be denied entry. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is recommended for Rome in general.
