The itinerary

Day 01

Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Forest Area

Pick up from Kigali International Airport, meet your Rwandan guide, and transfer to the Bwindi forest area.
Drive through the Cyanika border post to reach the southern part of Bwindi in Rushaga.

Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge, Bwindi Lodge, or Gorilla Safari Lodge (luxury), or sleep in Kabale for a low-budget option with basic accommodation.

Day 02

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi and Return to Kigali

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and get ready for gorilla spotting.
Track the rare mountain gorillas inside the Bwindi National Park area. This entire exercise can take about 2-7 hours, depending on the pace of the trek and how quickly the mountain gorillas are found.
Drive back to Kigali for airport drop-off.
