Meesapulimala Trek and Overnight Camping
- Meet your tour guide at an agreed-upon location and begin the trip.
- Enjoy an adventurous trek to Meesapulimala, the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats in Kerala's Idukki district. The peak stands 2,640 meters (8,661 ft) above sea level. Its name comes from its eight peaks, which spread like a "moustache," and it lies between the Anaimalai Hills and Palani Hills near Suryanelli, around 20 km from Munnar.
- Stay in tents located at an altitude of about 6000 ft. Electricity for the camp is generated using a microturbine.
- Enjoy the night outdoors by sitting around a campfire and savoring a delicious supper. Spend the night sleeping in the wild.
- Go for a 9 km trek in the morning. After climbing the first 6 km, you will reach the viewpoint, and after another 3 km and crossing seven hills, you will arrive at the Meeshapulimala peak.
- Head back to your hotel or accommodation at the end of the tour.
