Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing International Airport, where you will be met by our staff.
Transfer to your hotel.
Welcome dinner included.
Day 03
Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, and Pearl Market
After breakfast, visit the Great Wall.
Lunch at a local restaurant is included.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven and Pearl Market.
Dinner is included at a local restaurant.
Volunteer program orientation in the evening.
Day 04
Volunteer Service Day
Breakfast included.
Volunteer day - serve at a children center, orphanage, or special-needs home.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Day 05
Volunteer Service Day
Breakfast included.
Volunteer day - serve at a children center, orphanage, or special-needs home.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Day 06
Volunteer Service Day

Day 07
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, and Xi'an Train
In the morning, visit Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City, followed by a Hutong tour with a pedicab (rickshaw) ride.
Visit a local family and have lunch with them.
Visit the Summer Palace.
Dinner on your own.
Transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Xi'an.
Day 08
Arrival in Xi'an and Old City Wall
Arrive in Xi'an and transfer to your hotel for breakfast (packed food on your own).
Tour Xi'an Old City Wall.
Bike riding on the city wall is on your own.
Then visit the Muslin Market area.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Day 09
Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Terracotta Warriors
Breakfast included.
Tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the morning.
Visit the Terracotta Warriors in the afternoon.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Optional: Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 10
Volunteer Service Day

Volunteer Day and Overnight Train to Shanghai
Breakfast included.

In the evening, take an overnight train to Shanghai.

Arrival in Shanghai and City Touring
Arrive in Shanghai, transfer to your hotel, and have breakfast on your own.
Tour the Bund and Yu Garden shopping area in the afternoon.

Volunteer Day and Optional Huangpu River Cruise
Breakfast included.
Volunteer day - serve at a children center, orphanage, or special-needs home.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Optional: Evening tour on the Huangpu River Cruise/Ferry.
Day 14
Departure from Shanghai
Breakfast included.
Check out of your room and transfer to Shanghai Pudong International Airport by subway for your flight home.
Lunch and dinner are on your own.

You will tour various heritage sites, interact and work alongside local natives, and visit globally recognized landmarks such as the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, and the Forbidden City.
You will be given the opportunity to assist many of China's community development programs, work with children of all ages in local orphanages, and assist with charity events for special-needs children and adults.
You will have chances to share beliefs with local people.
The tour is designed to be a balanced blend of travel and volunteerism.
