5-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari through Tarangire Serengeti and Ngorongoro

• Be picked up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park for game drives. The distance from Arusha to Tarangire is 120 km, which is about a two-hour drive from Arusha town.

• Arrive for game drives and then head to the Tarangire picnic site for lunch.

• After lunch, continue with the game drives and, in the late afternoon, spend some time walking in the park. Get a chance to explore the park on foot as well.

• Later, leave the park and drive to Karatu for an overnight stay.

• After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti plains via the land of the Maasai and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continuing to the famous Serengeti park area. Arrive in time for lunch.

• After the necessary paperwork, continue with game drives, exploring the Serengeti grasslands and the wildlife found here.

Later, head to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Wake up early in the morning for game drives and get a chance to see animals during their early activities. If you are lucky, you may see many predators hunting their morning prey.

• Later, head back to the camp for a full breakfast, then collect your picnic lunch before setting out for a full-day game drive.

Return to the campsite in the evening for rest and an overnight stay.

• Today, you will have another chance to explore Serengeti National Park more broadly.

• Later, head back to the camp for brunch (an early lunch) and then continue with game drives.

• In the late afternoon, leave the Serengeti plains and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Have dinner and an overnight stay here.

• Have an early breakfast at 5:30 or 6:00 am, followed by a drive into the Ngorongoro Crater area.

• Enjoy a 6-7 hour game drive and explore the wildlife here, including about 2,500 species of fauna and flora. The black rhino can be easily seen in the crater area.

• Enjoy your packed lunch with delightful views of the hippo pool.

• Drive back to Arusha to catch your return flight, or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport for the same.
