Day by day
Pick up from Nairobi Airport and drive to Naro Moru town in Nyeri County, heading towards the Naro Moru park gate. Here, you will pay the entrance fees before proceeding further.
Then continue with a 9.5 km trek to Met Station Hut.
You will have lunch here and then rest for acclimatisation.
Dinner and overnight stay at Met Station Hut.
After breakfast, make preparations for a full-day walk through the steep terrain of the Naro Moru route to reach Mackinders Camp. This day involves about 12.5 km of walking and climbing.
Along the way, you will stop for rest, snacks, and lunch. During the journey, you will also cross the Naro Moru River.
Overnight stay at Mackinders Camp (4,200 m).
Wake up at around 03:30 hrs and have a cup of coffee before making preparations for the rest of the day's hike.
Begin with a steep hike through the mountain area until you reach the summit of Point Lenana (4,985 m). Today's hike can take about 3 hours. Once at the top, revel in the beautiful sunrise views.
After sightseeing, descend the mountain and return to camp for breakfast, rest, and a late afternoon nature walk.
Overnight stay will be at Mackinders Camp.
After breakfast, prepare to leave Mackinders Camp and proceed to Met Station at around 09:00 hrs.
You will sleep at Met Station Hut. The following day, you can check out through the Naro Moru gate and drive back to Nairobi to end the tour.

This trip is a 4-day trekking and hiking tour to Mount Kenya peaks up to the summit of Point Lenana (4,985 m). Through the Naro Moru or Sirimon route, the entrance fees are the same at both gates. The Naro Moru route is about 24 km, while the Sirimon route is about 27 km. The Naro Moru route is steeper than the Sirimon route, which is gentler. Both routes have two camping stations before summiting at Lenana Point. The Naro Moru route also has an extra stop - Austrian Hut - which can be used by those intending to go rock climbing at Nelion or Batian peaks.
The price is the same for both routes - Naro Moru and Sirimon.
