5-Day Darjeeling and Mirik Nature Tour with Tiger Hill Sunrise

• Pick up from the airport or railway station and travel to Mirik. Mirik is a tourist spot located in the hills of Darjeeling district. The name Mirik comes from the Lepcha words Mir-Yok, meaning "place burnt by fire". Mirik is a popular tourist destination for its climate, natural environment, and easy accessibility.

• Visit Sumendu Lake, which is surrounded by a garden called Savitri Pushpaudyan, named after Savitri Thapa, a martyr soldier of the INA, on one side and pine trees on the other. There is also an arching footbridge called Indreni Pool nearby. A 3.5-km-long road encircles the lake and is used for picturesque walks and scenic views of Kangchenjunga on the far horizon.
