Temple of Horus at Edfu and Kom Ombo's Double Temple

Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, located on the west bank of the River Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt. It was originally built during the time of the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. See the ancient inscriptions on its walls, which speak of the language, myths, and religions practised during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. Today, this temple is known as one of the largest temples dedicated to Horus and Hathor of Dendera.
