Itinerary

1. Day 1: Pyramids, Sakkara and Memphis

   • Arrive in Cairo and meet with the tour guide at the pick-up point. 

   • Travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza, visit the ancient capital of Memphis and the ancient burial grounds of Sakkara, a necropolis for ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis.

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way.

   • Check out the Light and Sound Show at the Great Pyramid at 18.00 hours (Cost 20€).

   Overnight stay at a hotel in Cairo.

2. Day 2: Cairo City Tour

   • Meet with the tour guide at your hotel, then proceed to the Egyptian Museum.

   • Visit the Saladin Citadel of Cairo, and the Alabaster Mosque, the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way.

   • Go shopping at the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar.

   • Travel back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

3. Day 3: Alexandria City Tour

   • Meet with the tour guide at your hotel and travel to Alexandria. 

   • Visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, an ancient fortress, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an archaeological site, Pompey's Pillar and the New Alexandria Library. 

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant.  

   • Go for an optional Nile cruise ride, have dinner on board, and sail through Cairo till late at night (Cost 25€ ).

   • Travel back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

4. Visit Cairo Islamic area

   • Meet with the tour guide at your hotel, then travel to the Islamic Cairo area and check out the Coptic Museum. Islamic Cairo is a part of central Cairo around the old walled city. It is characterized by hundreds of mosques, tombs, mansions, caravanserais, and fortifications- all dating back to the Islamic era. 

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Travel to the airport for your flight back home.
