Durmitor National Park and Savin Kuk Ascent
Transfer directly to Durmitor National Park.
Take on the most approachable Durmitor alpine tour and climb Savin Kuk peak at 2,300 metres. Although the climb is steep, with a 700-metre ascent over 3-4 kilometres, it is one of the shorter routes in terms of duration, and it is possible to reach the top in a maximum of 3 hours.
Enjoy all-around views, with a perfect perspective of the highest Durmitor peaks on one side and the vast lake plain on the other.
That is not all - you will also catch an almost bird's-eye perspective over the centre of this majestic national park: Black Lake.
Depending on the remaining time, after a short transfer, you can optionally visit Black Lake and the visitors center, taking a pleasant walk through the pine forest. Apart from this option, which takes an additional hour, there are a few other possibilities on and around the lake.
Transfer back.
