The itinerary

Day 01

Full-Day Kruger National Park Safari

Pick up at 5 AM from Maputo.
Head towards the Ressano Garcia border via Lebombo Border Post, continuing to the Crocodile Bridge entrance to Kruger Park.
Stop for freshly brewed coffee and snacks at the Lebombo garage with your personal safari guide.
After crossing Crocodile Bridge, embark on a 10-hour safari and be greeted by remarkable wildlife.
Head to Hippo Pool to view huge numbers of hippos lazing around in the water.
Stop for lunch at either Lower Sabie Rest Camp or Skukuza Rest Camp during the safari.
Continue on an expedition into Rhino Post.
Spot the renowned Big Five - leopards, white or black rhinos, elephants, lions, and buffalos - near Skukuza Rest Camp.
Visit the banks of the River Letaba and relax in nature at Mapai.
Go bird-watching at Pretorius Kop.
Towards the end of the safari, pass through the Jakkal Bessie Concession and then Jock Safari Lodge.
Exit Kruger National Park through Malelane Gate.

What to bring

For summer months, lightweight and short-sleeved clothes are best, although a light jersey or sweater might be needed for the cooler evenings. Umbrellas and raincoats are essential during summer, and warmer clothes are needed for the winter months.
You are advised to bring your own binoculars, as well as your cameras and filming equipment.
