Islamic Cairo highlights tour
Early in the morning, gather at the hotel and then move with a guide in an air conditioned car. Learn about the Islamic Cairo which was Egypt's Islamic capital till Cairo became the capital city. It has several Egyptian monuments from different ages (the Osmani age-the Mamluky age).
Start at Salah EL.Din's castle which was built in 1176AD. Explore Mohammed Ali Mosque which was built at the age of the Smani state, and the mosque of Al.Nasser Ibn kalawon which was built at the Mamluky state.
Continue to the Martial Museum and see some equipment which was used in the sixth of October war. Trace some of the weapons which were taken from Israel.
Explore the castle prison, the police museum, EL Azhar Mosque, El Moaz street, Ibn Kalawon group and Al Hakem Mosque.
