Head to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan's most beautiful temples. Built in the early Mon style, Ananda contains two unique images of Buddha whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statues are viewed.
Continue to Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, then visit Dhammayangyi Temple, known for its remarkable brickwork, and finally Sulamani Temple.
Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the Bagan plains from the upper terrace of one of these temples.
