Pick-up from your accommodation in Kathmandu.
Drive for 30 minutes to Patan, which is located on the opposite side of the Bagmati River.
See the courtyards of Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk, and witness the remarkable Newari architecture that makes this site famous.
Watch a demonstration of carpet weaving during a visit to a Tibetan handicraft center at Jawalakhel.
Drive to Bhaktapur, which is also referred to as Bhadgaon by locals. The medieval city has its own famous Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site with attractions such as the Golden Gate, Lion Gate, Potter’s Square, National Art Gallery and the 55 Window Palace- once the royal seat of Nepal.
Take a break for a traditional lunch in the square.
