Arrival in Kigali and check-in at the hotel.

Head to Akagera National Park with your Rwandan tour guide.
Take a boat ride in the afternoon on Lake Ihema to see crocodiles, schools of hippos, and lots of water birds.
Overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge.
Go on a game drive and get an opportunity to see over 12 species of antelopes, over 525 species of birds, including the rare shoebill stork and papyrus gonolek, as well as the Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant.
Explore the pastoral heritage experience in the afternoon and head to Kigali.

Take a noon excursion into Buhanga Forest, where all Rwandan kings were initiated. Visit one of the last remaining mountain gorilla families in the world.
