The itinerary

1
Day 01

Georgia's Modern Stonehenge

You will be impressed by the height of this memorial. The Chronicle of Georgia was created by Zurab Tsereteli, a Georgian born Soviet-trained sculptor. The building began in 1985. The statue is partially incomplete. Though seems a lot of improvement works have been done recently and the complex might become a popular tourist spot very soon.

The monument sits at the top of a large set of stairs. There are 16 pillars that are between 30-35 meters tall and the top half features kings, queens, and heroes while the bottom part depicts stories from the life of religion.

2
Day 02

Tbilisi Sea

The Tbilisi sea or Tbilisi reservoir is an artificial lake in the vicinity of Tbilisi that serves as a reservoir. The lake has a length of 8.75 km and a width of 2.85 km. It was opened in 1953 and has become a popular recreation spot.

3
Day 03

Jvari Monastery

This architectural masterpiece overlooks the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers – which is a spectacular sight due to the different colors of the water in each river.

4
Day 04

Uplistsikhe Cave Town

Uplistsikhe, whose name translates to 'Fortress of the Lord', is an ancient rock-hewn town that played a significant role in Georgian history over a period of approximately 3,000 years. Archaeological excavations have revealed extraordinary artifacts dating from the Late Bronze Age all the way up to the late Middle Ages.

Between the 6th century BC and 11th century AD, Uplistsikhe was one of the most important political, religious, and cultural centers of pre-Christian Kartli, one of the predecessors of the Georgian state, and flourished until it was ravaged by the Mongols in the 13th century.

5
Day 05

Borjomi resort

The Borjomi mineral water park is a very popular attraction with tourists who visit Borjomi. This is the place where the “famous” mineral water was first produced. While there you can bring your own bottles and fill them up with the mineral water which is known to be good for health. Children are also bound to have a good time, since the park also offers a variety of attractions and amusements for them to enjoy.

If you wish to stay overnight or for a few days ,there is plenty of high quality accommodation available such as the prestigious “Crowne Plaza Hotel“ which is conveniently located in the heart of the city near the mineral park. It’s a relaxing hotel that offers “contemporary interior design rooms with a hint of nostalgia”, terrace with a café, restaurants, a wine bar and a luxurious spa that offers swimming pool and sauna as well as other health care options.
