The itinerary

Day 01

Drive to East side of El Yunque Rainforest, once we arrive enjoy a 20 to 30 minute hike to the first mineral water, watering hole. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15 minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and 40 feet cliff jump into the river. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an unique rainforest experience.

  • Tour may be difficult for people that don’t exercise regularly
  • We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops and slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
  • Participants with: Overweight issues, Walking limitations, Permanent injuries, Recent surgeries are NOT recommended for this experience as it demands to be in a good physical condition to be completed.
  • Customers must know how to swim to participate on the tour
  • Guests with recent surgeries
  • Guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness
  • Minimum age to participate is 5 years
  • Max age to participate is 59 years
  • Trail is on uneven and muddy terrain. Guest will walk on LOTS of mud.
  • Good physical condition required
  • Flip Flops, Slide Ins, Croccs or open-toe shoes are NOT allowed.
  • You need to arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time of the tour (8:30 AM local Time). Tours leave right on time, travelers will be considered a No Show if they arrive late without the ability to receive a refund or reschedule.
  • You can only participate in this tour if you are driving your own vehicle as you will need to follow the tour guide in your car until we arrive at the rain-forest.
