Day by day
Meet your local tour guide at your hotel in Kigali at 6 am for pick-up and transfer.
Depart with a packed lunch in a 4x4 car for Akagera National Park.
Arrive at the national park, complete the registration process, and begin your game drive, which takes around 6 to 7 hours. Look out for lions, black rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
Overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge.
Enjoy breakfast and proceed for a game drive of about 4 to 5 hours with your tour guide. See a variety of wildlife that you may not have seen on the first day, including leopards, crocodiles, and buffaloes.
Return to the lodge for rest and lunch.
Go for a boat ride in the evening.
Overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge.
Walk around some areas of the park from the south to the north exit.
Get dropped off at your hotel.
