5-Day Sri Lanka Highlights Tour with Sigiriya and Kitulgala

On your arrival, we will take you to Sigiriya via the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Dambulla Cave Temple. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery, and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants, located in Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. See the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, a heritage site situated around 148 km east of Colombo and 72 kilometres north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

Poḷonnaruwa is the main town of Polonnaruwa District, Sri Lanka. Visit this ancient city, including the Kaduruwela area and the ancient ruins of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa.

Have lunch in a nearby village and try some local food - Sri Lankan rice and curry.

In the morning, we will climb Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress situated near the town of Dambulla. Visit this huge rock structure, which is around 200 metres high.

Next, we will head towards Kandy city to see Kandy Lake and the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Today, you will enjoy a proper Kandy city tour with visits to the Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya, and possibly a nearby waterfall and a tea factory.

Today, on your last day, indulge in some exciting water sports with white water rafting at Kitulgala. These adventures will energize your tour right at the end.

Afterwards, we will drop you at the airport or in Colombo, as you wish.
