The itinerary

Day 01

Cape Peninsula, Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach

  • Arrive in Cape Town, meet your tour guide, and travel to the Cape of Good Hope.

  • This region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its exceptional floral diversity. Follow the west coast via Clifton, with a stop at Maiden's Cove to enjoy a magnificent view of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay.

  • Continue to Hout Bay, a charming little town, for a short boat trip to Duiker Island, home to the world's largest fur seal colony. The scenic Chapman's Peak Pass is also a sight to behold for its breathtaking scenery.

  • Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a place where the cold Atlantic waters meet the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

  • Continue down the False Bay coast, where you will have lunch at the old harbour area of the historic naval port of Simon's Town.

  • Visit the well-known Boulders Beach, home to Africa's largest penguin colony.

  • Travel to Groot Constantia, South Africa's oldest Cape Dutch manor house and wine farm, built by the first Governor of the Cape.

Day 02

Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl Winelands

  • Drive to Stellenbosch, a fertile wine-growing area known for its beautiful varied architecture, renowned wines, and university, where the language of instruction is still the local language.

  • Proceed to see the local museum and historic shops, followed by a visit to the Hels Hoogte Pass on the way to Franschoek. This will also include a visit to the Huguenot Museum.

  • Walk around the wine farm and enjoy the scenery.

  • Travel to Paarl to see Nelson Mandela's statue and the Taal Monument, dedicated to the African language.

  • Drive back to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 03

Table Mountain, Cape Town Landmarks and Kirstenbosch
