Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Our safari guide will pick you up from the airport/your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala/Kigali after an early morning breakfast at 07:00 hrs.
- The Safari guide will brief about the whole safari before you travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable forest area in southwestern part of Uganda. It is the one of the oldest parks here, dating back over 25,000 years. Trekking gorilla in Bwindi national park is an unforgettable experience to have in your life time.
- Along the way, there is a local drum and craft making community which you can visit, if you are interested.
- This will be followed by a stopover at the Equator for some candid shots. Feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town for lunch followed by an onward travel to Bwindi.
- Overnight stay and dinner will be at the lodge in Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in the Rain Tropical Forest
- After an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers about the dos and donts inside the park. You will be divided in groups of 8.
- Continue with gorilla trekking inside the park as directed by the rangers. This is definitely a memorable and an amazing experience to watch the Mountain gorillas feed and play around. This day trip will take about 2 hours or even up to 8 hours, depending upon the location and movement of the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you can spend one hour with them and take some photos.
- Return back to the lodge in the evening for rest or if interested, you can visit the Batwa community to learn about local cultures, dances and stories. This visit will cost an extra fee of $20.

Day 3: Departure - Kampala
After an early breakfast, check out from your accommodation and start your journey back to Kampala passing by rolling hills with terraces. Enjoy views of lush green vegetation in these areas.
Have lunch at Mbarara and make one more stop at Mpambire Drum Makers point. If interested, you can buy some of these drums.
Continue onto Kampala, where you will arrive late in the afternoon. The guide will drop you off to your hotel or at the airport for your return flight.
