Day by day
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 07:30 in the morning.
Drive to Tsavo East National Park, which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions.
Enjoy a game drive en route via Aruba Dam to the lodge or hotel, arriving in time for lunch.
Go on an afternoon game drive in the park.
Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or hotel.
Leave for a morning game drive.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and later leave the lodge or camp for Tsavo West National Park, enjoying a game drive en route.
Check in for lunch, then relax by the swimming pool, cool off, and watch animals drinking water from the nearby waterhole.
Go for an evening game drive.
Visit the Rhino Sanctuary, which remains open until 6 pm.
Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Have breakfast and leave the lodge or camp for Mzima Springs for hippo and crocodile sightings.
Walk to Mzima Springs, where water from Mt Kilimanjaro flows underground and bursts through the volcanic lava rocks, creating a large pool where you will find hippopotamus, crocodiles, and different kinds of birds.
Return to your bus and drive out of Tsavo West National Park to the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Stop for lunch at Voi.
Drive back to your Nairobi hotel or coastal hotel. The quote for the coastal hotel package will be provided on request.
